Responsibilities
Manage full cycle accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, and cash flow monitoring
Review and approve disbursements, loan schedules, and financial transactions (wires/ACH)
Provide training, guidance, and issue resolution support to staff accountants
Serve as a key contact for partners and clients regarding accounting policies and entity compliance
Review closing and legal documents; coordinate with attorneys and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
Support audits, tax preparation, and investor reporting
Contribute to process improvements and occasional ad hoc projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience with full cycle accounting and general ledger maintenance
Strong Excel proficiency and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Leadership or mentoring experience
Basic tax knowledge
