Responsibilities

Create task-oriented technical documentation for engineering audiences
Document systems architectures and complex software workflows
Write and maintain API documentation
Develop UX writing and content strategy
Define documentation standards and best practices
Translate your expertise into guidance that AI tools can apply at scale
Test and validate documentation tooling against your requirements

Qualification

API documentationTechnical writingDocs-as-code workflowsCloud platformsContent strategyDocumentation standardsCollaboration skills

Required

3+ years of technical writing experience documenting complex software systems
Ability to quickly understand and document complex software and related tools
Strong collaboration skills with subject matter experts
Experience creating well-structured specifications that incorporate feedback
Ability to manage documentation projects with shifting requirements
Degree in Technical Communication or equivalent experience

Preferred

Experience with docs-as-code workflows (Git, Markdown, static site generators)
Familiarity with AI/LLM tools and prompt engineering
Experience with cloud platforms (GCS, AWS, Azure)
Background in API documentation (OpenAPI, GraphQL)
Ability to articulate documentation best practices as systematic, repeatable guidance
