Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable web applications across the entire application stack
Design and work with databases (SQL and NoSQL), ensuring data integrity and efficient querying
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, including unit and integration tests, and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and standards compliance

Required

Strong communication
Ability to work with the team through ambiguous requirements (internal to NEA as well as another business unit that we're co-developing with closely)
Ability to ramp up quickly on a fairly sprawling code base with a lot of entry points will be key
Looking into a migration from EC2 into a more serverless architecture, but this role will primarily support current tasks deployed in the EC2 infrastructure; AWS experience will be useful later in the contract

Preferred

Experience with geospatial libraries (GDAL, QGIS)
Database migration
