Responsibilities
Proactively solicit new residential mortgage business
Sell correspondent and approved brokered mortgage products to meet loan quality and production goals
Engage with potential borrowers using customer contact software
Assess financial needs and educate customers on available mortgage solutions
Work with leads provided by Fay Servicing, purchased leads from Genstone Financial and self-generated referrals
Guide customers through the refinance and purchase loan application process
Explain loan product structures to potential borrowers while maintaining compliance with all federal, state and company policies
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/ GED required
Active NMLS license required
2+ years' experience in an inside sales mortgage originations environment, with a proven track record of success
Demonstratable ability to multi-task, self-manage and self-motivate to drive new business
Prior experience working with Loan Origination Systems (LOS), preferably Encompass
Solid skills and experience in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical skills
Solid decision-making abilities coupled with sound judgment
Strong time management skills
Ability to prioritize numerous tasks and manage shifting priorities
Client-focused with strong execution skills and results orientation

Ability to work in a collaborative environment and provide guidance for working groups
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance preferred
Multiple state licenses preferred
Residential loan origination experience preferred
