Responsibilities
Compare and reconcile trades with external counterparties to identify and resolve discrepancies
Investigate and resolve trade, cash, and position breaks in a timely manner
Act as the main contact for internal and external clients, responding to inquiries via email, phone, and other communication channels
Communicate trade issues clearly and escalate unresolved items to management when needed
Approve trade corrections, inputs, and cancellations according to established controls
Reconcile suspense accounts and ensure accurate recordkeeping
Maintain high accuracy, quality, and timeliness in a high-volume, risk-sensitive environment
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to improve processes and support system enhancements or automation efforts
Qualification
Required
Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
Proficiency in MS Office tools
Experience with trade comparison, reconciliation, or post-trade operations
Ability to work rotating schedules between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET
Preferred
Background in brokerage, clearing, custodian, or financial services operations
Experience with fixed income settlement
Exposure to automation or process improvement initiatives
FINRA Series 7 and/or Series 99 (preferred, not required)
