Responsibilities
Assume primary daily processing and reconciliation responsibility for major work components such as vault, ACH, check balancing, ATM balancing, and settlement processing
Reconciles bank accounts, posts to and balances general or subsidiary ledgers
Accurately maintains, balances, and reports status of fixed assets and/or prepaid accounts
Works with the electronic funds transfer networks, and other financial institutions to research and resolve transaction discrepancies
Contacts other departments and/or outside agencies to resolve common problems
Verifies accuracy, completeness, and consistency of accounting information received from all sources
Accurately inputs vendor invoices to AP system & issues AP checks
Processes GL postings and payments for employee expense reports
Assists with ACH and Inclearing processes, and other projects when necessary
Qualification
Required
Experience in a customer-focused/deadline-driven/high-energy environment
Ability to provide courteous, friendly and professional assistance
