Overseeing and executing the company’s day-to-day accounting functions
Ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls
Managing the general ledger
Month-end and year-end close processes
Accounts payable and receivable oversight
Payroll coordination
Budgeting support
Assisting with financial analysis
Process improvement initiatives
Compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
Collaboration with internal teams and external partners
Qualification
Required
Strong background in accounting operations, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and month-end close
Experience supporting or managing budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow oversight
Solid understanding of accounting compliance, internal controls, and best practices
Ability to manage day-to-day financial operations while contributing to higher-level financial oversight
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional and external collaboration
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Proficiency with accounting software and financial tools, including experience with QuickBooks Desktop
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Ability to lead, manage, and train accounting staff on core accounting principles and best practices
Preferred
Construction industry experience preferred, but not required
