Advancing the existing stuff they have built (ML Engineering)
Building new stuff that does not exist (AI Engineering)
Qualification
Required
Strong knowledge of software engineering principles
Deep understanding of statistical modeling, probabilistic/statistical frameworks, operations research, or optimization model building
Experience with MLOps, DevOps, and CI/CD processes is essential
Primary focus is on MLOps/DevOps and productionalization, not on independent model development (though understanding of model building is beneficial)
Experience with platforms such as Domino, Bedrock, SageMaker, or similar is preferred but not strictly required; flexibility exists for candidates with related platform experience
Familiarity with modern optimization software is preferred, but there is flexibility regarding which specific tools have been used
Ideal candidates typically have a Master's or PhD due to the depth of modeling required, but strong candidates with a Bachelor's and significant relevant experience will be considered
Candidates should demonstrate both breadth and depth in relevant skills and experience—neither superficial nor overly narrow expertise is desired
Python, AWS, Ci/Cd, Snowflake
DEEP Understanding of Machine Learning/Generative AI
EDUCATION/deep expertise within statistics, machine learning, ideally a Masters/PhD (Candidates CANNOT just be a Software Engineer that turned ML/AI, that will NOT be enough)
