Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day payroll operations, including weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll processing for multi-state clients, including related activities such as wage garnishments and payroll deductions
Process and reconcile payments to third parties, including retirement contributions, payroll taxes, wage assignments, and garnishments
Partner closely with clients to define, implement, and optimize payroll systems, processes, and procedures, while reviewing controls to help mitigate risk
Support the setup and implementation of new payroll clients, ensuring a smooth and accurate transition
Monitor and implement client benefit plans including oversight of open enrollment and ensure changes are made in a timely manner
Serve as a point of contact for clients and their employees, providing guidance and support for payroll and benefits-related questions or issues
Respond to ad hoc client requests with a high level of service and attention to detail
Develop and refine payroll SOPs for clients to be consistent with OMNI processes

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field or equivalent experience
7+ years of experience processing payroll and providing administration for employee benefits
Comfortable working with HR systems and tools, including payroll, timekeeping, benefits enrollment, and other employee-focused technologies
Excellent interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships
Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Preferred

Prior experience working in an environment providing benefits and payroll services to multiple clients simultaneously
Experience with Paylocity, Paycor, and Paycom beneficial
