Responsibilities
Perform high-quality ribbon fiber optic splicing, including mass fusion splicing
Conduct OTDR testing and troubleshoot as needed to ensure network integrity
Document all splicing and testing results with precision
Follow industry best practices and safety standards at all times
Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet deadlines
Qualification
Required
1+ years of ribbon splicing experience (data center experience strongly preferred)
Proficiency with OTDR testing equipment
Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in splicing and testing
Willingness to work extended hours on a rotational schedule (3 weeks on, 1 week off)
Must be open to long-term assignment work in Abilene, TX
Benefits
$178/day per diem (paid 7 days a week while traveling)
