Intern, Entry, Mid LevelSunset Ventures is hosting the Emerging Venture Capital Fellowship, which provides students and recent graduates with hands-on experience in venture capital operations. The Fellow will conduct market and startup research, evaluate startups, assist with due diligence, and engage with founders while supporting the mission of Emerging LA.

Responsibilities
Conduct market and startup research to identify emerging trends and potential investment opportunities
Evaluating startups
Assisting with due diligence
Supporting event planning and execution
Engaging with founders
Maintaining strong connections in the innovation ecosystem
Producing meaningful reports or content that contribute to the overall mission of Emerging LA
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Market Research, Startup Evaluation, and conducting Due Diligence
Strong Communication, Networking, and Relationship-Building skills, particularly with founders and investors
Event Planning and Content Creation capabilities
Analytical and Problem-Solving skills, along with attention to detail
Ability to manage projects independently and adapt to hybrid work setups
A genuine interest in innovation and contributing to LA's entrepreneurial ecosystem
Preferred
Knowledge or experience in venture capital, startup ecosystems, or entrepreneurial environments
