Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance detailed financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning activities
Analyze financial statements and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key financial metrics and strategic recommendations
Collaborate with business units to gather financial data, validate assumptions, and ensure alignment with corporate financial goals
Utilize advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and macros, to streamline data analysis and reporting processes
Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions to assess their impact on financial performance and strategy
Support the preparation of quarterly and annual financial plans, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, and corporate finance within a relevant industry
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and macros
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
Preferred
Billingual English/Spanish
Experience working in the Energy Services and Utilities industry or a similar regulated sector
Familiarity with financial planning software and ERP systems
Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or CMA
Advanced skills in data visualization tools and programming languages for financial analysis
