Responsibilities
Coordinate and steward all aspects of the private equity fund capital calls and distributions
Maintain and development waterfalls to accurately calculate preferred returns, catch-ups, carried interests, clawbacks and investor capital calls and distributions
Manage and support cash flow and returns analysis, including updating the waterfalls and assisting with drafting and sending capital activity communications to fund investors
Collaborate with various teams to ensure the waterfall structures align with fund documents and compliance requirements
Coordinate with fund accounting, client solutions and tax teams to provide timely responses to investor, prospective investor and internal stakeholder inquiries
Coordinate with the accounting and reporting teams to work with external auditors to validate waterfall calculations during audits and investor reviews
Leverage emerging technology and artificial intelligence to develop efficient workflows and tools to streamline waterfall calculations and reporting processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance, economics, engineering or related field
5+ years of experience working with or within private equity company strongly preferred
Relevant experience in private equity operations, public accounting, consulting, or financial services firm in a similar role is preferred
A working knowledge of (or interest in) the energy industry, private equity structures, investment concepts, and financial statements strongly preferred
