Boehringer Cares - Summer Internship
Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative Intern to join our Corporate Social Responsibility and Boehringer Ingelheim Cares Foundation team located at our Ridgefield, CT facility. The role involves assisting in the management of Boehringer Cares programs and organizing employee volunteering events to enhance community engagement and support healthcare access, STEM education, and animal health.

Responsibilities
Assist in the management of Boehringer Cares programs
Lead and organize employee volunteering events
Review program reporting for Boehringer Cares Board/Sustainable Development/management discussion as appropriate
Participate in meetings and conference calls with program vendors and nonprofit organizations focused on program effectiveness, resourcing, budget, and opportunities for improvement
Assist in managing program webpage and other internal and external facing educational resources; recommend innovations to better serve our stakeholders
Prepare summaries/slides for and participate in Boehringer Cares leadership meetings, as appropriate
Participate in other programs (e.g. Grants, Charitable and Philanthropic Giving, Product Donations, Patient Assistance Program, Disaster Relief, Matching Gifts) to meet team needs
Qualification
Required
Must be a current undergraduate, graduate, or advanced degree student in good academic standing
Student must be enrolled at a college or university for the duration of the internship
Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) preferred
Major or minor in related field of internship (e.g. Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability, Public Relations, MBA)
Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at current college or university
Graduate and Advanced Degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours at current college or university
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred
Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) preferred
