Responsibilities
Own and lead integrated media planning for key client accounts, from annual planning to campaign-level strategies
Define the role of various channels across the marketing funnel and establish planning frameworks aligned with client objectives
Guide audience segmentation and targeting approaches using both first- and third-party data
Collaborate with analytics and activation teams to define success metrics, learning agendas, and optimization frameworks
Act as a strategic partner to senior client stakeholders, leading planning discussions and presentations
Ensure that planning is closely aligned with creative strategy, media activation, analytics, and execution
Identify and implement new planning approaches, tools, and methodologies to keep our agency at the forefront of integrated planning
Establish best practices, templates, and planning standards agency-wide
Mentor and develop planning talent at all levels, including Directors, Managers, and Senior Managers
Ensure all planning deliverables meet high standards for strategic clarity, rigor, and business impact
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in media planning, integrated planning, or media strategy
Strong experience planning across digital channels; familiarity with offline media is a plus
Proven ability to lead complex, multi-channel planning initiatives
Strong command of performance data, audience insights, and measurement frameworks
Demonstrated experience in managing and developing planning teams
Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, and media planning, research, and analytics tools
BA/BS degree required
Excellent executive-level communication skills, including client-facing presentations and strategic storytelling
Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Advanced degree preferred
