Responsibilities
Performance analysis of multiple decentralized locations within assigned market & system wide
Analysis and support of financial projects
Analyze and prepare monthly reports on operational performance specially related to third party delivery
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies
Research and resolve accounting issues as they arise
Assist with special projects when necessary
Support month-end financial statement preparation by brand and by delivery platform
Maintain variance analysis on financial results
Support FA&R Accountants and Treasury staff on completion of month-end tasks
Communication/correspondence/research with unit operations
Assist with the maintenance of month-end financial reports
Monthly analysis & preparation of work papers supporting select balance sheet accounts
Assist with work paper preparation supporting year-end balance sheet accounts as needed
Support Sr Accountant and Sr Manager on special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis
Support department on an as-needed basis on other tasks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
2-3 years of related experience
Strong analytical skills
Audit/research documentation skills
Comprehension of the monthly closing process
Accurate financial statement preparation
Strong Excel skills
Demonstrated proficiency with general ledger accounting
Demonstrated proficiency with financial reporting
Demonstrated proficiency with fixed asset software
Good verbal communication skills
Good written communication skills
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Preferred
SAP experience
Excellent sense of humor
