Responsibilities
Establish and maintain quality procedures, documentation standards, and audit practices
Ensure organizational adherence to internal quality benchmarks and industry regulations
Lead internal audits and support external audit preparedness
Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes to mitigate risk and improve consistency
Develop inspection criteria, testing procedures, and statistical process controls
Collaborate with engineering teams on design-for-quality and process-improvement initiatives
Lead investigations using 8D, 5 Whys, Pareto, and similar methodologies
Document findings and drive corrective and preventive actions through cross-functional teams
Work closely with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to ensure quality alignment across the business
Provide training, coaching, and support to technicians and operators regarding quality standards and best practices
Lead initiatives aimed at reducing defects, improving product reliability, and increasing manufacturing efficiency
Support ongoing efforts to modernize and automate production processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
7+ years of Quality Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment; HVAC or related industry experience strongly preferred
Expertise in root‐cause analysis tools, quality metrics, and process control methodologies
Strong analytical, documentation, and cross-functional leadership skills
Preferred
Experience overseeing or building a quality team
Familiarity with electromechanical products, HVAC systems, or mechanical assemblies
Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent certifications
