3+ years expLHH is currently recruiting a General Accountant with commodity or operational accounting experience in the Energy industry. This position will perform daily accounting and month-end close duties.

Responsibilities
Assist with month-end close processing including preparation of monthly journal entries
Prepare monthly account reconciliations, including bank account reconciliations
Maintain fixed assets depreciation and amortization scheduled, and lease schedules
Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements, and the consolidated reporting packages
Perform monthly accounting for commodity inventory bookings, monitoring sales, purchase and transportation bookings and associated tie out
Qualification
Required
3+ years of general accounting experience in the energy industry, specifically with commodity operations
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Knowledge of MS Dynamics, SAP Concur, and energy trading and risk management systems a plus
