Senior Epic Willow Inventory Analyst
Medasource is seeking a Senior Epic Willow Inventory Certified Analyst to support the successful implementation of Epic Willow Inventory across multiple ambulatory care sites. This role involves leading the implementation process, conducting workflow analysis, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure efficient inventory management in non-acute care environments.
Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end implementation of Epic Willow Inventory in ambulatory clinics, including discovery, design, build, testing, training, and go-live support
Conduct comprehensive workflow analysis to understand existing paper-based inventory processes and translate them into efficient, electronic workflows within Epic
Configure and maintain supply chain master data, including formulary items, location par levels, BIN assignments, orderable items, and vendor information
Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, clinical teams, supply chain management, and IT counterparts to ensure alignment of project goals and adoption strategies
Provide expert guidance on Epic Willow Inventory best practices, optimization opportunities, and ambulatory-specific use cases
Perform system testing (unit, integrated, and user acceptance) and validate inventory workflows meet business and compliance requirements
Deliver training and at-the-elbow support during go-lives and post-live stabilization phases
Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including build specs, test scripts, training materials, and standard operating procedures
Serve as a mentor to junior analysts and provide guidance on ambulatory inventory configurations
Qualification
Required
Epic Willow Inventory Certification is required
5+ years of experience as an Epic Willow analyst with at least 2 years supporting ambulatory or clinic-based settings
Demonstrated experience leading or heavily supporting a paper-to-EHR migration initiative, preferably in outpatient or specialty clinic environments
Multiple full life cycle Willow Inventory implementations
Strong understanding of supply chain and pharmacy operations in non-acute care settings
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Preferred
Pharmacist, pharmacy degree or background
Willingness to travel onsite as needed during go-live
Willow Ambulatory certification
