Responsibilities
Lead the Corporate Department and report to the Managing Partner
Supervise lawyers, paralegals, law clerks, and externs on your team
Lead by example: with your diligence, drive for success and positive attitude
Continue to develop your own book of business (currently over $400K) and help drive the continued growth of the firm
Qualification
Required
An attorney with over 10 years of corporate transactional experience
Licensed to practice in New York, California, Florida, Texas or elsewhere in the U.S. or the UK, with a portable book of business
A natural leader, experienced in structuring and negotiating M&A transactions
Practical, prepared and resourceful with excellent people skills
An efficient and effective communicator, in plain-English
Conscientious, thorough and highly accountable
Motivated to learn and improve. Receptive to constructive feedback
Polished, poised, energetic with a strong work ethic
Always responsive and often proactive, keeping your clients (and team) well-informed
A portable book of business of at least $500,000
