Responsibilities

Provides daily leadership and supervision to the overall operations of the Field Fiscal Services Unit
Provides management level functions including budgetary control and reporting
Oversee day-to-day operations of regional accounting office
Analyze and reconcile accounting data and transactions
Develop, monitor, and maintain budget and financial records for the department or unit
Create and maintain a high-performance environment characterized by positive leadership and team orientation
Apply generally accepted accounting principles in recording financial activity in accounting systems and varied subsystems

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting AND Three (3) years of professional accounting job-related experience, which includes One (1) year in a supervisory role
OR Two (2) years of experience at the lower level Accountant Spv (FIP024) or equivalent position
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
Good communication skills, written and oral
Ability to read and interpret financial reports
Knowledge of job-relevant policies and procedures at the state and federal levels

Preferred

Two (2) years of supervisory experience in accounting and/or related fiscal activity
