Deep-Dive Financial Analysis: Manage and meticulously review P&L statements. You must be able to spot trends, identify inefficiencies, and provide actionable insights to the Controller

Accrual Management: Demonstrate a mastery of accrual-based accounting. You will be responsible for ensuring all revenue and expenses are captured in the correct periods to provide an accurate financial picture

Reporting & Strategy: Partner with the Controller to refine financial reporting processes and improve the accuracy of month-end and year-end closings

Operational Oversight: Bridge the gap between daily transactions and high-level financial health

The 'Inquisitive' Mindset: You are naturally curious and skeptical. You don't take data at face value; you verify and investigate until the numbers make sense

Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in GAAP, specifically regarding complex accruals and revenue recognition

Experience: A proven track record in a mid-to-senior level accounting role where you were responsible for the integrity of financial statements

Communication: The ability to translate complex financial data into clear summaries for leadership
