Senior Logistics Account Manager
GRANDROCK Freight Co. is a small but rapidly growing national freight brokerage focused on building trust and transparency within the logistics industry. They are seeking a Senior Logistics Account Manager responsible for generating new business, managing leads, and closing sales with prospective clients, all while maintaining excellent customer service and building long-term relationships.
Responsibilities
Generate new business through targeted leads, phone calls, email outreach, networking, and referrals
Identify potential clients and qualify leads within target industries
Conduct sales presentations and negotiate freight and logistics contracts/rates
Collaborate with operations and carrier teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery
Maintain accurate records of all sales activity, leads, and client interactions in CRM systems
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Provide excellent customer service to build trust and encourage long-term relationships
Qualification
Required
1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in logistics, freight, or B2B sales
Strong sales and prospecting skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Goal-oriented with a self-motivated, proactive approach
Ability to manage multiple accounts and leads simultaneously
Preferred
Familiarity with logistics software or freight management systems is a plus
