The New York Post is expanding into Los Angeles with the launch of The California Post, aiming to provide a bold voice for the region. They are seeking a Page Editor responsible for designing visually engaging newspaper layouts and collaborating with various teams to ensure high-quality content.

Responsibilities
Design daily newspaper layouts across news, features, sports, and other sections
Work in Méthode and InDesign to execute pages quickly and accurately
Collaborate with editors and photo teams to pair sharp headlines with compelling visuals
Ensure layouts are consistent with the California Post’s style and editorial standards
Update and adjust designs in real time as stories develop and editions change
Deliver creative, clear, and reader-friendly pages under tight deadlines
Contribute fresh ideas for improving the visual presentation of the newspaper
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in print design for a newspaper or major publication
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign is a must
Strong eye for typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
Proven ability to design clean, engaging pages under daily newsroom deadlines
Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as news demands
