Principle Specialist, Materials Planning SIOP
RTX is a company dedicated to helping the nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. They are seeking a Principal Specialist in Materials Planning SIOP to manage manufacturing production schedules, assess material availability, and coordinate interdepartmental activities to ensure a controlled flow of materials for production requirements.

Responsibilities
Handle PRISM functions
Assess supply resources
Aggregate and prioritize demand profile requirements, plan inventory, distribution requirements, coordinate material for all products and all activities impacting hardware build and VM/CMES & shop floor coordination
Assessing capacity for current and short term manufacturing
Participate in resource and factory build planning and product line management
Work closely with the factory and operations teams
Be responsible for material inventory audits and movement of material to the factory
Own and use metrics that will be key to maintain system health
Drive the level of performance that will support customer expectations
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations Production/Inventory Control/Supply Chain/Material management or similar field
Experience working with multiple levels of management in an IPT environment and interacting with internal and external customers with respect to product/material planning, problem resolution and process improvement
Experience with manufacturing processes and environments and using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or software
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred
SAP experience
Experience setting and working towards goals at a “big picture” level, and influence change at a detailed operational level
