Responsibilities
Represent clients in divorce, custody, and related family law matters with a strategic, results-driven approach
Provide high-touch client service: proactive communication, polished advocacy, and compassionate support
Develop and execute case strategies that align with each client’s personal and financial goals
Collaborate with a team of skilled attorneys, paralegals, and client service staff to deliver a seamless, concierge experience
Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to firm growth through thought leadership and community involvement
Prepare legal pleadings and supporting documents
Attend court hearings and trials to zealously advocate on behalf of your client
Qualification
Required
JD, licensed in Texas
A proven track record of representing high-net-worth clients or complex cases and high client satisfaction
Exceptional communication and courtroom skills with a professional, confident presence
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and comfort with modern legal tech and systems
Values efficiency and strategy
Emotional intelligence: ability to support clients navigating stress while maintaining boundaries and professionalism, as well as being creative and solution-oriented
Ability to work from home without direct supervision, with excellent self-discipline, time management, reliability, initiative, and communication skills
Ability to work with a team and outside professionals to optimize outcomes for clients
Preferred
5+ years of family law experience (litigation and negotiation) with solid understanding of the Texas Family Code and the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure
Board certification in family law preferred
