Responsibilities
Record basic information related to daily assignments and work performed
Operate vehicles and equipment as directed and in accordance with training and safety procedures
Perform tasks safely and conscientiously to ensure personal safety and the safety of others
Assist with special projects or assignments as directed by the Streets Maintenance Supervisor
Perform routine maintenance tasks with minimal supervision
Carry out work assignments as required or directed
Perform related work as required
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
Valid State Driver's License required
Ability to utilize hand and power tools
Ability to operate light vehicles and mechanical equipment such as lawn mowers and landscaping equipment
Ability to follow instructions and work independently with general supervision
Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions
Successful completion of a pre-employment physical examination and drug/alcohol screen following a conditional offer of employment
