Responsibilities
Manage a docket of plaintiff-side employment law matters from inception through trial
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial briefs
Take and defend depositions
Appear in court to argue motions and advocate on behalf of clients
Communicate directly with clients and contribute to overall case strategy
Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations
Assist with trial preparation and serve as second chair as needed
Qualification
Required
Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar
Minimum of three (3) years of plaintiff-side employment litigation experience
Deposition experience required; trial experience strongly preferred
Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to manage cases independently, lead litigation strategy, and mentor junior attorneys
