Responsibilities
Act as the main contact between maintenance, operations and Schneider maintenance vendors
Perform paper audits of vendors to ensure all services meet expectations
Keep vendors updated on new techniques, procedures and technical service bulletins through personal training and utilizing shop associates
Work with Operations and Customer Service to manage equipment availability and maintenance needs
Check in daily on equipment being repaired in your assigned areas
Understand assigned fleets and vendors in your region and assist in the consolidation of vendors
Support the roadside emergency maintenance team by communicating directly with drivers and external maintenance vendors when needed
Qualification
Required
At least 2 years of professional work experience
Understanding DOT laws and regulations
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Hands-on maintenance experience on multiple trailer types (including dry vans, pups, reefers, lift gates and flatbeds)
