Responsibilities
Draft various pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents
Prepare and respond to discovery requests
Request, follow up, and obtain medical records/bills related to client treatment
Verify and document account balances with medical providers
Review and summarize medical records
Assist with trial preparation, including jury instructions, trial exhibits, subpoenas, etc
Manage court dockets and deadlines
Draft settlement calculations and agreements
Other administrative duties such as organizing case files, calendaring hearings, filing, etc
Qualification
Required
2+ years of Litigation Paralegal experience
2+ years of Personal injury law experience
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate clearly and professionally in both languages with clients, team members, and stakeholders
