East Coast Wholesale Account Manager
rabbit is a female-founded, California-based performance running brand that is looking for an East Coast Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of wholesale accounts across the Eastern U.S. The role involves driving account growth, managing relationships, and executing strategic account plans while traveling extensively for account visits and events.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute account strategies to achieve revenue, door growth, and profitability goals
Identify and pursue new account opportunities across the territory
Monitor market share & OTB by door/chain; protect and grow open-to-buy through seasonal line plans and replenishment strategies
Build annual account-level forecasts to inform the annual budget; provide periodic reforecasts as needed
Manage trade and activation budgets; track spend vs. plan, flag risks, and drive ROI
Conduct cost-benefit analyses for major activations and make go/no-go recommendations
Own revenue for East Coast account portfolio via futures, revisions, cancellations, at-once, and fill-ins
Drive sell-through with regular check-ins; troubleshoot operational blockers and propose solutions
Collect/import orders; maintain real-time trackers; review orders and provide suggestions to maximize productivity
Support key accounts with detailed strategy outlines for leadership; lead sell-in 'takeovers' as needed
Plan and execute virtual sell-ins (Zoom) and sell-in filming with models/fit as needed
Coordinate swatch books, line sheets, pricing, and seasonal tools; travel to priority doors for line reviews
Build door-level merchandising strategies and seasonal forecasts aligned to demand and inventory
Schedule Top-to-Top meetings, build account meeting slates, and set event strategies; assist with booth setup/teardown
Manage retailer communications and seasonal marketing needs documents
Samples management: obtain/traffic samples for marketing and sell-in needs
Deliver product education/tech sessions (remote and in-person) tailored to each account’s assortment
Create account activation proposals with detailed budgets; manage scheduling/logistics; execute activations
Brand & retail events: coordinate, staff, and execute; create and manage the retail component of hybrid brand/retail events (e.g., major marathons/expos)
Build event/expo orders aligned to demand; confirm inventory availability (multi-warehouse/branch coordination)
Deliver monthly account updates with performance highlights, risks, and next actions
Second meeting post month-close to capture late-breaking changes and financial impacts
Provide a monthly list of on-hold orders and at-risk accounts; drive resolution plans
Post-season reporting: sell-in vs. forecast, door productivity, activation ROI, and learnings
Communicate special circumstances (early ship, delays, penalties) to internal teams
Triage wholesale customer service requests to the correct internal contacts
Collaborate cross-functionally (Sales Ops, Demand/Planning, Marketing, Product, Finance/AR, CS)
Keep Asana/CRM current; provide product feedback and marketplace insights to the Product team
Qualification
Required
5–7+ years in wholesale sales/account management for athletic/outdoor/apparel/footwear or related consumer goods; run-specialty experience a plus
Proven success managing large regional portfolios and key accounts with revenue ownership
Strong forecasting, OTB partnership, and trade spend ROI discipline
Confident with virtual sell-in (Zoom/video) and in-person line presentations
Skilled in Excel/Google Sheets (lookups, pivots), CRM, and task tools (Asana or similar)
Working knowledge of CRM/EDI/wholesale platforms
Comfortable with tradeshows/events
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills; solutions-oriented and organized
Valid driver's license; able to lift up to 40 lbs for event and booth materials
