Epic Revenue Cycle Supervisor

The Epic Revenue Cycle Supervisor will be responsible for assessing workflows, designing and configuring system modules, leading cross-functional projects, and ensuring software modifications meet organizational standards.

Responsibilities
Understands facility department processes, assesses workflows, identifies gaps, and defines changes for new solutions
Designs, builds, and configures modules and supporting applications, maintaining system documentation and process steps
Creates test scripts for end-to-end workflow testing, performs unit, system, and integration testing, and documents outcomes
Stays updated on industry trends and system updates to ensure current knowledge
Ensures software modifications and upgrades meet system specifications and organizational standards
Follows standards for software configuration control, quality assurance, and version releases, documenting system upgrades and new system releases
Leads cross-functional projects using project management skills, tools, and methodologies
Communicates project status, issues, end-user concerns, budget, and milestones effectively
Participates in and leads meetings, reporting status updates, accomplishments, tasks, and barriers to management
Demonstrates advanced knowledge of Epic, third-party solutions and Microsoft products
Develops collaborative relationships with stakeholders to capture requirements and ensure alignment
Troubleshoots issues, initiates escalation procedures, and recommends resolutions
Qualification
Required
Microsoft Office suite experience; proficient in PowerPoint and Visio presentations
Experience leading teams and providing feedback
Experience communicating complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
Work with minimal guidance
Rapid learner
Advanced ability to manage multiple tasks and projects within deadline constraints
Advanced knowledge of HL7 concepts and operating within an integrated healthcare applications environment
Ability to work with no supervision
Associate college degree (a.s, b.a., b.s. or commensurate experience) in a field of study such as business, is, or a healthcare related
5+ experience documenting workflow design and identifying areas for improvement
Yearly participation in ongoing education either formal or through conferences, active professional organization participation, or journal presentations
EPIC Credential (EPIC CRED)
Preferred
5+ years of clinical, revenue cycle, business or technical background
EMR application/implementation experience
Knowledge of clinical/revenue cycle/business/technical workflow
