SALT strategy and governance across sales & use, state income, city, and property
Audit management (state/local) and proactive controversy resolution
Systems & automation (enterprise tax engines; exemption management)
Quarterly/annual provisions & reserves (ASC 740/450)
Cross-functional partnership on product taxability, go-to-market, and future launches
Qualification
Required
12–15+ years SALT with leadership in high‑scale tech/digital services
Audit defense track record and a controls/automation mindset
Experience with enterprise tax engines (e.g., Vertex)
Preferred
CPA/JD/MST preferred
Exceptional cross‑functional communication
