Responsibilities
Inspectors perform interior, exterior, and roof inspections as assigned, based on carrier-defined scope and reported areas of concern
Visually inspect roofs, interior rooms, or identified as areas of concern
Document observable interior conditions, including staining/discoloration, surface irregularities, warping or swelling, bubbling or peeling finishes
Conduct full perimeter exterior inspections
Clearly document any access limitations
Capture labeled photographs and prepared sketches with measurements when required
Capture clear photos and verify completeness
Submit documentation within required timelines
Maintain professional demeanor
Do not comment on coverage, causation, or settlement
Qualification
Required
Detail oriented with the ability to manage delays and field challenges
Physically capable of climbing, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 60 lbs
Proficient with mobile technology
Effective time management and organizational skills
Customer focused with a professional demeanor
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Background in inspections, adjusting, roofing, construction, or restoration highly preferred
