Responsibilities
Deliver high-level tax planning, research, and advisory support for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and closely held businesses
Lead multiple client engagements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, timely delivery, and effective budget management
Review and oversee preparation of individual, partnership, trust, estate, and corporate tax filings
Resolve complex tax issues and stay informed on changing federal, state, and local tax laws
Manage client relationships, including identifying new service opportunities and supporting billing processes
Train and mentor team members while contributing to firmwide initiatives such as business development and process improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Active CPA license is required
Minimum 5 years of experience in tax, ideally within public accounting, with strong exposure to high-net-worth, trust, and/or estate work
Excellent communication, analytical thinking, leadership ability, and client service skills
Willingness to work seasonal overtime
Valid driver's license
Preferred
Master's in Taxation is highly preferred
Proficiency with tax software platforms (e.g., CCH Axcess, Thomson Reuters UltraTax) is advantageous
