Responsibilities
Strong planning skills, able to hand conflicting priorities, experienced in managing/supervising
Provide overall direction, training and supervision to maintenance staff and outside suppliers
Establish schedules and priorities for equipment repair, machine installations
Coordinate preventive maintenance and repair of foam line and flame equipment
Implement, maintain, and revise Preventive Maintenance (PM) program
Maintain computerized program of work orders, tools, equipment and supplies on ITS system
Liaison with other mangers/supervisors to address departmental concerns
Administers and complies with company safety regulations and policies
Promotes teamwork and cooperation
Plan, budget, schedule, and co-ordinate capital projects
Responsible for 5Q’s and promoting the use and implementation of Lean tools such as the WPS, TWI, Book Club, 5S, etc
Any other duties as assigned by Operations Manager and/or Plant Manager
This position will manage HS&E elements and need to comply with each of them
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and 5 years' experience in a manufacturing/process environment in maintenance process or manufacturing functions

Good verbal and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of SPC and automotive quality standards, statistical experiments, metering pumps, sensors and transducers, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Lean tools training
Excellent computer skills (Spreadsheet, AutoCAD etc.)
Leadership skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to share and transfer knowledge and skills to / with others
Dependable and self-motivated individual with good attendance/disciplinary and safety record who can work effectively with minimal supervision
Detail oriented individual with excellent thinking and troubleshooting skills; able to make decisions based on information and analysis
Ability to work weekends, alternate shifts and flex hours as required
Some math and computer skills are essential to perform job duties
