Director, Pricing Strategy - Neuroscience VAP (Value Access & Pricing)
Johnson & Johnson MedTech is dedicated to healthcare innovation and is seeking a Director of Pricing Strategy for its Neuroscience team. This role involves developing and implementing pricing strategies for the neuroscience portfolio while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and effectiveness of pricing strategies.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the development and implementation of brand pricing strategies for the neuroscience portfolio
Serves as a brand pricing lead by synthesizing customer, industry and competitive insights and intelligence to guide in developing channel and franchise pricing strategies
Proven strategic thinker, taking concepts to fruition/implementation
Ensures awareness of price as key component of the marketing mix at the gross and net level
Effectively work with all key stakeholders to drive alignment on the pricing strategies and how they impact business
Leads CPC (Contracting and Pricing Committee) discussions regarding pricing strategies with Legal, Finance, Contracting Administration, HCS, HCC (Healthcare Compliance) and other key stakeholders
Develops contract strategy dashboards tracking pricing strategies and business impact
Proactively conducts competitive analysis and evaluate the changing marketplace and proactively make recommendations on pricing strategies and presents to Senior Management
Develops product value offerings to capitalize on product efficacy and other competitive attributes in lieu of discounts and rebates
Understands and articulates the impact of price changes on Gross to Net sales as well as patient out-of-pocket spend
Works with Finance Pricing, VP VAP & Sr. Dir VAP Neuroscience on list price actions, price management & information
Acts as a pricing strategy lead on customer contract negotiations and discussions
Support new business teams as an expert providing pricing insights to deal analysis
Develop Innovative Pricing Strategies and programs to insure patient and provider access at a reasonable Gross to Net
Leads direct/indirect reports and develops them for future position
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing or other critical thinking major
10 or more years of work experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry
Solid knowledge of US payers, GPOs and US reimbursement and access landscape, price regulations/reporting as well as state reporting requirements
Ability to lead/influence others collaboratively; this includes account management, brand management, strategic planning, legal, finance, HCC and other key stakeholders
Ability to influence large/diverse teams without direct authority
Ability to develop internal/external collaborations and build positive, constructive relationships across all levels and disciplines
This position is based in Titusville, NJ and may require some limited travel
Preferred
advanced business degree (MBA) or CPA
Emphasis in finance, market access, marketing or strategic/product functions
Experience in pricing or contracting or account management
Strong understanding of reimbursement/payment models and customer structures
Strong financial or marketing background
Prior experience managing people
