Responsibilities

Work more independently from the group manager and play a key role on project teams
Understand key corporate initiatives and work with the manager to motivate others
Take a key role in implementing and/or supporting new programs, processes or technologies
Execute test plans and test cases for various products and systems
Create automated test programs mainly in NI LabVIEW and TestStand, with occasional use of VB.NET, C++, Python, and Lua
Perform advanced Test Engineering assignments and activities with the ability to demonstrate initiative to improve methods
Analyze test results using statistical analysis tools and use findings to drive continuous improvement
Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to understand product requirements
Participate in design and code reviews to ensure testability and quality
Document test procedures, results, and findings

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field
Proficiency in one or more structured programming languages (such as LabVIEW, C/C++, Python, Java, or VB.NET) applied to test or automation
Solid understanding of electronic test methodologies, hardware debugging, and automated test systems in a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data to make decisions and improvements
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced production setting
Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across design, manufacturing, and operations
High attention to detail and a strong commitment to product and process quality

Preferred

Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, including NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand, and data acquisition systems
Hands-on experience with electronic test and measurement equipment such as DMMs, power supplies, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and source measure units
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) for managing test software and configurations
Data analysis and statistical modeling skills (e.g., SPC, capability analysis, yield analysis) to support continuous improvement
Experience with hardware testing, debugging, and troubleshooting using schematics and layout information
Background in metrology or calibration practices for precision measurement systems
Experience with test automation in a high-mix or high-volume manufacturing environment
