Digital Program Project Manager- Vogtle 1&2

The Digital Program Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all activities related to engineering, contracting, procurement, and project controls for the Vogtle 1&2 projects, ensuring successful project execution and alignment with company goals.

Responsibilities

Developing a project scope, budget, and schedule as well as an implementation plan for completing assigned projects while meeting the project goals
Build and sustain relationships across all levels of the organization including executive management and external stakeholders such as the NRC, INPO, etc
Has a working knowledge of project control techniques, design, work management, and procurement processes
Focus on understanding the business and leveraging that knowledge to partner with management to identify and monitor strategic, financial, operational and compliance risks, including emerging trends
The ability to solve problems and make sound judgments, based on experience and proper risk evaluation tools, to provide timely and appropriate resolutions to issues that might impact personnel safety, plant performance, budget, and project execution
The ability to communicate issues and drive problem resolution through various levels of management
Ability to effectively interface, build, and sustain relationships with other departments
Working knowledge of plant operations, design engineering and maintenance practices
Thorough knowledge of safety policies, procedures, and guidelines
Excellent written and oral communications skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline strongly preferred, but not required
Project Management certification (PMP), or the ability to obtain within 1 year
Advanced degrees, Professional Engineer (PE) license, and other degrees/certifications will be considered based upon the candidate's experience
Minimum three (5) years of nuclear plant experience in Engineering, Maintenance or Operations or equivalent military experience
Minimum three (3) years utilizing project management type skills
