Responsibilities
The Laboratory Technician will report to the Laboratory Manager and is responsible for supporting lab operations on a day-to-day basis
Receipt samples, Log in and sorting samples
Crushing and splitting samples
Completes pulverization sample preparation
Performs test charges for testing
Conducts bottle roll testing on samples
Utilizes column testing techniques
Documents results of testing and investigations in technical reports
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school Diploma or GED required
Attention to detail
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Technical writing
Analytical thinking skills
Preferred
Laboratory sample preparation experience is preferred
Experience operating in a metallurgy laboratory is preferred
