Responsibilities

Lead daily collections operations with a focus on recovering significant overdue balances
Analyze aging, trending, and payer reports to identify risk areas and prioritize recovery efforts
Apply deep knowledge of optometry coding and billing to resolve complex denials and collection barriers
Manage, coach, and hold staff accountable for productivity and performance outcomes
Establish and reinforce consistent collections workflows, policies, and best practices
Partner with leadership to support post-merger integration and process improvement initiatives

Required

Demonstrated experience managing collections teams, preferably in healthcare
Strong optometry coding and collections experience is required
Ability to step into a leadership role quickly and manage through change
Comfortable leading both on-site and remote staff
Experience addressing high-dollar, long-overdue accounts

Experience with CareCloud and/or HST Pathways
