Responsibilities

Develop rapport and ensure a quality member experience: greet members by name, display a caring attitude, be responsive, timely and accurate with transactions and handle member issues with professionalism and patience
Process a variety of financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing
Answer member questions, research and resolve problems, and provide information on account balances, services, and products
Handle cash and maintain an accurate cash drawer, following policies and procedures for balancing
Use active listening skills to promote and cross-sell credit union products and services that will benefit the member
Adhere to credit union policies, procedures, and security measures to comply with regulations, protect member and Credit Union assets, and to deter and detect fraudulent activity

Required

One or more years of customer service experience
Member service focus with the ability to stay positive in interactions with members and team members
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
Ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms
Ability to adhere to understand and adhere to credit union policies and procedures
High school diploma or equivalent
