Responsibilities

Serve as the Workday functional lead for Absence, Benefits, Payroll, and Time Tracking modules, ensuring accurate configuration, business process design, and alignment with organizational policies
Partner with cross functional partners to analyze current processes and recommend technical solutions that increase automation, accuracy, and compliance
Configure, test, and deploy enhancements in Workday, including Business Processes, Condition Rules, Calculated Fields, and EIBs
Support ongoing system maintenance including open enrollment, year-end payroll activities, absence plan updates, and time tracking rule changes
Troubleshoot complex system issues and coordinate resolutions across HRIS, Payroll, and integration partners
Perform data audits, monitor integration feeds, and ensure data integrity across systems
Manage bi-annual Workday releases, evaluating feature updates, testing new functionality, and recommending adoption strategies
Develop and maintain system documentation, test scripts, and configuration tracking for change management and audit purposes
Provide functional training and support to end users when needed on system usage and process best practices

Required

3-4 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar technical role with hands-on Workday configuration experience
In-depth knowledge of HR systems and technologies, such as HRIS, payroll systems, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and learning management systems (LMS)
Knowledge of HR-related processes, employment laws and practices
Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skill
A customer-centric, employee experience mentality that is eager to resolve questions and issues
Strong sense of urgency and ability to quickly prioritize in a fast-moving environment
Self-starter, highly motivated, eager to improve everything you touch
Excellent writing and communication skills

Preferred

Experience with Workday integrations and data exchange between third-party systems (such as payroll providers, benefit carriers, or time collection systems)
