Senior LevelCrowdPlat is seeking a Senior Mobile Application Developer to support the design and delivery of a proof-of-concept mobile solution for real-time public safety operations. This role focuses on integrating mobile applications with situational awareness platforms and secure backend services to enable real-time visibility of incidents across devices.

Responsibilities
Install, configure, and support a TAK Server proof of concept within a secure enterprise network
Integrate the TAK Server with:
TAKAware (iOS)
ATAK (Android)
Enable real-time group visibility so authorized users can view:
Live incident details and locations
Live unit statuses
Live unit locations
Integrate the TAK Server with a Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) system
Ensure CAD data is displayed accurately within:
ATAK on Android
TAKAware on iOS
Design and implement secure, reliable mobile connections that:
Meet CJIS compliance standards
Follow enterprise security best practices
Assist with securing mobile and backend access using Okta authentication
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, optimize, and validate performance
Document configurations, integrations, and technical decisions
Qualification
Required
Senior-level experience as a Mobile Application Developer or Mobile Software Engineer
Strong hands-on experience developing and supporting: iOS applications (Swift, Objective-C)
Strong hands-on experience developing and supporting: Android applications (Kotlin, Java)
Experience integrating mobile apps with backend systems and RESTful APIs
Familiarity with real-time data feeds, geolocation services, and mapping
Experience working in secure or regulated environments
Understanding of CJIS security requirements or similar compliance frameworks
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
Preferred
Experience with TAK / ATAK / TAKAware platforms
Experience integrating with CAD or public safety systems
Cross-platform frameworks such as: React Native, Flutter, Xamarin
Experience with: JSON, REST APIs
Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies
Familiarity with mobile testing and monitoring tools: Firebase, Crashlytics, Appium, Espresso
Knowledge of mobile app deployment processes (App Store / Google Play)
