They are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to oversee the financial strategy and planning for a growing specialty physician practice group in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

Managing financial reporting
Preparing and interpreting financial statements
Developing long-term economic plans
Leading the finance team
Collaborating closely with the physician executive and other leadership to drive the company’s financial health and sustainability
Advising on significant investments and strategic financial decisions

Required

Experience at a senior financial leadership role in a medical clinic/physician practice group or related healthcare delivery organization is REQUIRED
Strong expertise in Financial Planning and the development of long-term financial strategies
Ability to create, analyze, and interpret Financial Statements and reports
Comprehensive knowledge of Finance and Financial Reporting principles
Exceptional Analytical Skills for data interpretation and decision-making
Proven leadership experience directing financial teams and managing budgets
In-depth understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required; MBA or CPA certification strongly preferred (CPA -eligible)

Preferred

Experience with practice mergers and acquisitions is highly preferred
Experience in the healthcare sector or relevant industry preferred
