They are looking to add a Technical Designer to support the Senior Technical Designer in the product development process across multiple apparel categories, requiring strong technical knowledge and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain detailed tech packs, including technical sketches, measurements, construction details, fabric and trim specifications, and production instructions
Partner with Pattern Makers and Garment Technicians to ensure fit and construction align with design intent
Participate in and manage garment fittings, documenting and communicating fit revisions throughout development
Collaborate with sourcing teams on material, trim, and finish selection
Communicate with Design, Production, and sourcing partners to ensure accurate execution and on-time delivery
Provide technical guidance from concept through final production, ensuring products are cost-effective and manufacturable
Support quality control by addressing production issues and resolving discrepancies
Stay informed on industry trends, materials, and technical innovations

Qualification

Required

2+ years of experience in technical design or apparel product development
Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern making, grading, and fit
Experience creating and maintaining tech packs
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
Strong communication and organizational skills
High attention to detail and technical accuracy
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Experience across multiple apparel categories (women's, men's, and kids)
Background in basics, loungewear, or core apparel programs
Experience working with both licensed and private-label products
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Apparel Technology, or a related field
