Responsibilities
Participate in data science and data analysis work related to TikTok's UGC creation, social interaction, community interaction, photo-text business, deeply understand business logic and user needs, solve challenging problems in product and strategy optimization, and optimize user experience
Design a reasonable metric system to measure the healthy growth of the business, identify anomalies through monitoring, decomposition, and prediction of core metrics, and attribute them
Measure the impact of strategies through quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, experimental design, causal analysis, etc., identify opportunities for business growth, and provide actionable iterative suggestions
Work closely with product, algorithm, operations, research and development teams to advance projects together
Qualification
Required
Master's degree or above, major in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, or related fields, with 2+ years of data analysis experience
Proficient in quantitative analysis, solid foundation in statistics, familiar with A/B testing, causal inference, machine learning models, etc
Proficient in SQL, familiar with one or more tools in Python/R
Preferred
Strong logical thinking ability, self-driven, and strong cross-team communication and collaboration skills
Experience in the internet industry preferred
Understanding of recommendation systems, experience in analysis related to social platforms, photo&text communities, etc
