Responsibilities

Create and maintain project schedules, including updating activities, tracking progress, and analyzing schedule data
Maintain project baselines, monitor and collect schedule performance, and generate schedule reports
Responsible for monthly Earned Value Management Systems(EVMS) reporting and program compliance, NDIA 32 Guidelines
Provide cost control and financial support for program management and program cost control managers
Work with the client's accounting system to collect and import actual expenses
Prepare monthly CPR Formats 1-5 or IPMR deliverables
Develop and update process documents as necessary
Perform Monte Carlo Analysis
Perform Cost Account Manager training
Supports customer audits and reviews

Qualification

Required

1-3 years of experience in project controls, working with enterprise scheduling and earned value management solutions
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to coordinate with project teams, stakeholders, and management
Advanced Excel skills, proficient in data manipulation and analysis
A positive and proactive attitude, coupled with the ability to excel as both a collaborative team player and an effective leader when situations require taking charge
A proven high technical aptitude to quickly grasp and utilize complex software applications
Demonstrated experience in project controls, including scheduling and earned value management
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Knowledge of scheduling techniques, such as critical path method (CPM), resource leveling, and schedule compression
Familiarity with project management principles, including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
Understanding of earned value management (EVM) concepts, including the ability to calculate and analyze schedule variance (SV) and cost variance (CV)
Must be a U.S. Citizen, and be willing to work on-site in Manhattan, Kansas

Preferred

Experience with Dash360, Deltek Cobra, Deltek Acumen, or Tableau
PMP certification
