Responsibilities
Set the standard for great comms in a hyper growth, founder-led company
Work with marketing to help define our brand and raise awareness of Sierra externally as:
A generational company
A category defining product
The best AI partner for the best companies; and
Great place to work
Overall responsibility for our press, social media (including podcast) and blog
Manage our PR agency day-to-day
Be a key part of the Marcomms team-- pitching in as needed
Qualification
Required
Understanding of the press and social media-- either from working at a company, in government or as a journalist
Entrepreneurial and scrappy
Clear written and verbal communications skills
Creativity and an ability to execute at speed
Experience working within a fast paced company (or other institution), and with independent-minded people
Calmness under pressure, and the ability to navigate ambiguity and solve problems
Great team player--able to work well with people at all levels of the organization
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, internally and externally
Sound judgement and professionalism; comfortable handling sensitive topics and confidential initiatives
Preferred
Experience in B2B tech, AI, or platform products
Exposure to global comms across the US and EMEA (and beyond)
