Senior Talent Acquisition Lead / Recruiter
Georgia System Operations Corporation is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Lead / Recruiter to drive full-cycle recruiting and attract top talent across various functions. This role will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, refine recruiting processes, and contribute to workforce planning in support of the company's mission and growth.

Responsibilities
Serve as a talent acquisition subject-matter expert and trusted advisor to HR leadership and senior business stakeholders
Lead and influence enterprise-wide recruiting strategies aligned with organizational goals, workforce planning, and future talent needs
Provide functional leadership for the talent acquisition process, setting best practices, standards, and consistent hiring methodologies across the organization
Coach and mentor recruiters, coordinators, or hiring teams to raise recruiting capability and effectiveness (formal or informal leadership)
Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance process efficiency, candidate quality, and hiring manager satisfaction
Partner with HR leadership to support succession planning, talent pipelining, and critical role identification
Present recruiting insights, trends, and metrics to leadership, offering data-driven recommendations to inform decision-making
Act as a champion for diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within talent acquisition strategies
Support change management efforts related to new systems, processes, or organizational growth initiatives
Ensure a positive and seamless recruiting experience from first contact through onboarding
Promote GSOC's culture, values, and benefits to attract high-quality candidates
Build relationships with industry and community groups, universities, and professional associations to support diversity recruiting
Track and analyze key recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, source effectiveness)
Implement improvements to streamline recruiting workflow and enhance hiring outcomes
Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Ensure recruitment practices are compliant with federal, state, and corporate policies and standards
Prepare and maintain required documentation according to audit and HR reporting needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Typically 10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally including senior or lead responsibilities
Experience recruiting for technical or professional roles is a strong plus
Strong interviewing, negotiation, and candidate assessment skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with ATS systems and recruiting technologies
Ability to build strong relationships and influence hiring decisions
Self-starter with strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple search assignments
Ensure recruitment practices are compliant with federal, state, and corporate policies and standards
Prepare and maintain required documentation according to audit and HR reporting needs
Preferred
Experience in utilities, energy, or technical industries preferred but not required
